Bikes for Lesotho Project

Thank you for your past support of The Lesotho Connection and the St. Camillus Centre. Here s a new opportunity and your donation will make a big impact for the children at the Centre and the Mohale's Hoek region. I’m Joel Hellenkamp, a board member from Tacoma, WA, and I’d like to tell you about the Bike Project for Lesotho.

The Lesotho Connection is partnering with another non-profit.  Bikes For Kids in Tacoma, WA will donate used bicycles and parts to benefit the Centre and the children who live there. Bicycles are not widely available in Lesotho, but are an extremely useful form of transportation and in demand by youth and adults alike. 

* Our bicycle mentor, Tokelo Sehlatsana from Red Hoek Cycles, will manage the bicycles once they arrive in Lesotho.
* Some bicycles will be allocated directly to the children at the Centre.
* Some bicycles will be sold to bicycle shop owners in nearby villages and will provide a revenue source for the Centre.

All we have to do is raise $7,000 to get this shipping container of bicycles from Tacoma to Lesotho. Can you help?
