Help Build a Sustainable Farm for St. Camillus Center – A shelter and lifeline for orphaned and vulnerable children in Lesotho, Africa

To address the daily challenge of providing enough nutritious food for the children,  the Centre is embarking on a new venture to expand their commercial farming for income to support and feed orphans and foster children. Many of these orphaned or abandoned children are underweight and malnourished. Recent donations plus support from the local health providers have helped, but it’s imperative that the Centre become more self-sufficient and have a more stable income.

To improve crop yield, expand plant variety, and allow year round farming, the Centre has received a grant of $3700 covering part of the cost for installing irrigation in an acre of farm land and to implement the more cost effective techniques of Conservation Agriculture.
